You will need to walk on grass and cut up the dancefloor, please choose footwear accordingly.

Portland International Jetport (PWM):
The closest option, approximately 12 miles from Cape Elizabeth.

Boston Logan (BOS):
You may find more flight options if you fly into Boston and take ground transportation north. From Boston, we recommend:

⚠️ Note: Summertime traffic between Boston and Portland can be very heavy. Please plan accordingly!

⚠️ Note: The annual Beach to Beacon 10k road race takes place in Cape Elizabeth on the morning of August 1st. Road closures along the route are from 6am-10am. Residual traffic and activity continues through noontime.

Ground Transportation in Portland:
Portland Taxi Services, Uber, and Lyft are readily available.

  • Two Lights State Park: Seaside park with Lobster Shack.
  • Fort Williams State Park: The home of Portland head Light, this park offers a cliff walk, famous lighthouse, small beach, and food trucks.
  • Old Port: One of Portland’s historic districts, a go-to spot for food, galleries, and shopping.

Historic Landmarks

  • Portland Observatory: The only extant maritime signal tower on the Eastern seaboard, the Observatory was built in 1807. At the top of Munjoy Hill, it offers excellent views of Casco Bay, the entrance to Portland Harbor, and the White Mountains.
  • Victoria Mansion (Morse-Libby House): Built 1858 - 1860, it is one of the finest examples of Italianate architecture in America. The residence survives with its original interior design and furnishings.
  • Maine Historical Society: Special USA 250th exhibition: Pathways to Freedom: Maine Stories of the American Revolution.
  • Wadsworth-Longfellow House: Childhood home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, beloved American poet and Portland native. Don’t miss the garden behind the house, which is free entry.

A: There will be ample marked parking in an adjacent field.
